More random questions!

Do you like turnips?
Are you left or right handed?
What's your favourite colour?
Would you rather go to Ethiopia or Tanzania?
What's your favourite Pokemon?
What's your favourite Digimon?
Do you have a waifu?
Yes though I don't eat turnips too often.
Right-handed peasant.
Sky/Light Blue.
Don't know anything about either of those places like the uncultured American I am, but I'll just say Ethiopia.
Parchirisu, maybe I should have him as my avatar again one of these days.
Eh, Veemon? He's who I picked in Digimon World 4 (cause blue), but haven't been interested in the series since.
Naw, no use wishing for that which you can never have.

Why did you change your username to thelonelydolphin?
When I first thought of the name I was taking German at the time, but I failed to learn it so it doesn't make sense for the name to be in the language anymore.

What's your favorite game?

When was the last point in life when you had friends?
Splatoon 2 for life! Last time I had so called "friends" was 4 years ago I believe.

If you have the money, Have you sought the help of escorts or if you don't have the money, tinder?

Anyways, I feel ya buddy, I can shut myself off from the world physically and metaphorically from time to time and when it's time to, or one is forced to get back into the world ot can be a tough few days to get back into the swing of things, I can only imagine how hard it would be to get going after a prolonged period of isolation.
I haven't as I've never heard of those things before. Guess I'll look them up but no promises!

How come you shut yourself away, just taking a break?

You're not alone. What about family and coworkers? If you just exclude those then I'm also alone, as are a lot of people. Only people who cannot live on their own would tell someone to be a loser for being alone, when in fact they are the losers, because their life revolves around someone else.

I am alone by choice because most people suck and the only way to tolerate them is to not let them near you.
Like I said in the OP, I don't mean literally. If you have a non-robotic relationship with your family and co-workers then by all means count them and appreciate them! Totally agree though that most people suck, all the more reason why it's hard to reach out.

It's good that this worked for you and everything, but it's not compatible with who I am. Not interested in having a dog or any pet, am allergic to dogs, and someone who's lazy and unmotivated like me has no business being responsible for the life of another. As for church, I just don't believe in religion.

Unitarians don’t believe in religion either. 75% of us are atheists. That’s the thing about groups though, it’s where people meet other lonely people.

Yeah it worked for me until I sabotaged it to hell. I need to work on my self worth. Was a fine relationship while it lasted though.
Ah true, but I'm not sure how to converse with "normal" people. If they're not interested in videogames I'm kinda boned for talking points, atleast positive stuff. I could talk about how trash my life has been but I doubt they'd wanna hear life storys. Plus it's not like I've never been in groups. I used to play Yu-Gi-Oh for a good while and go to card clubs and tournaments whenever my parents allowed it. Didn't make any meaningful relationships there, though I was definitely at fault being younger and stupider n all.

And hey, better to have loved once then never at all I think!

How did you end up alone?
By killing everyone around me. o_O
Naw, just decided I'd rather have no friends than bad ones. Despite my situation, I don't regret that decision one bit.
