Can't we just stop bringing up how ridiculous some VGC users were in their ignorant attack on "Crapcom" regarding Monster Hunter World every time we get an update? I mean I had probably engaged in more arguments than anyone here explaining in detail why MHW was a great move and why it had so much potential; that it was financially and morally a bad step on Capcom's part to betray the player-base (PSP's) that made Monster Hunter what it is, and so on and so forth. Every point I made was proven (or will be proven) right. But while I understand the pleasure and satisfaction of temporarily making fun of short-sighted fools or terribly-off predictions (including my own), FFS it's been about 7 months since the game came out, are we keeping this behavior forever or what?

Speaking of sales distribution, at least some 7 million of those 8.3 mil were sold on PS4. If the game were a PS4 exclusive, then exclusivity-hype and interested X1/multiconsole owners would have pushed sales close to (or exceeded) 8 million within the same time frame, so not much would have been lost.

Xbox is becoming an insignificant platform to Japanese games while PC is slowly but surely approaching PS4 levels in this area. millions of old and new school console-gamers switched and continue to switch to PC, this partly explains the rising interest in Japanese games among PC gamers. MHW-PC numbers are nothing short of phenomenal for a late-ish port that isn't even great. Fortunately, this means Monster Hunter's transition to next generation will be butter smooth.

But.....Using updated information to mock those who were wrong in the past is part of our heritage at VGC. It's tradition. Plus, it played an important role in contributing the crazy level of this thread. Which I would rate a........6.5.
