Your entire post sounds like a "You problem" not a "Business problem."

To put it simple, MS heard the cries of people claiming Xbox has no games, so there addressing it. Hence these rumours.

Obsidian games would fit ideally into the MS family. They make old school/style RPG games, and MS being a major PC brand seems to work. Not sure why you think they wouldn't, your reasoning sounds more like jealously than anything else.

You choose to boycott brands with your own logic, than boycott these brands, no one is forcing you to buy there games or play on these platforms. The absorption adds more quality titles to a Store that's growing.

Steam was bad at launch and no one wanted to game on Steam until Steam grew its library and started to mature. I hated Steam, I had issues installing Half Life 2 yet 13 years later and 1100+ games later I still use Steam. Products improve, but you seem to have this mindset that Win10 Store wont and that its a MS product you choose not to support. That's fine. Either way these are rumours and regardless what happens I can play Obsidian games either on Steam or maybe on Win10 in the near future. You are in control of your own future bud.

PS - Your opinions on me are not needed in here.

No, that's you deciding to pin it that way because it suits your flippant side of the argument. You would more than gladly turn anything I have to say right back at me to suit your view on MS. You've used mirror argument in the past, deflecting whatever I have to say about MS and turning it into a Steam one, which itself shows poor debate skills.

Like it or not, the Win 10 store is universally disliked and not looked upon kindly. It is a storefront that isn't mentioned worldwide in the same sentence "amazing storefront" let alone "pro consumer", and certainly nowhere near in range of "mod supportive". It makes buying them a bad business decision because you are effectively pulling the most gimpish and utterly childish (because you honestly love saying it) decision while saying "buy it at my storefront or get out". People are more than allowed to voice their god damn opinion against that storefront and I diligaf at whatever pro argument you have to say about it. The storefront is gutter trash and PC gamers worldwide know this. Trying to spin it as if we are in the minority is completely insane, childish and disingenuous.

Obsidian isn't "ideal" for the MS "family", because MS has had a large history of shutting down studios and warping them and their IP's into something else. YOu think like a horrible mega corp exec that thinks buying everything is okay and that everything will "fit" under said "family". You don't actually look at this as an average consumer, because you are in fact one, not some greedy and mindless corp exec, but you're trying to come off as one with that spiel about "fitting in".

MS is hardly a major "PC brand" these days besides having an OS that has no competition, as well as one that loves to grasp onto their EEE strategy. It's thanks to their EEE strategy that they've managed to come through this far.

You call it boycotting because it suits your anti argument, but I couldn't care less. I get to choose what I do with my own damn money, not you, you will never get to decide what I do with it and you shall live with that. I absolutely will look down on people like you because you think you can tell me where to shop and what I should buy with my money. I can spend my money where I want, when I want and I can support other companies without having to buy from another, which doesn't automatically fall under that childish tag you love using.

The absorption quality actually subtracts from the general market, because one company is busy absorbing everything, but I guess you'd like it if Disney ran absolutely everything like MS would if given the chance.

Valve actually tried with their storefront for years. They've had years on their own to advance the way they have and guess what?, MS has had many, many years to do the same and yet they haven't once decided to take a page from Steam's book at all. I've been watching that storefront since it arrived, and MS hasn't done much to improve it drastically the way Steam has over the years. You know damn well that given prior research and evidence, that you can improve upon an existing concept at a much faster rate vs not having anything to run off of.

PS- Your opinion on this matter isn't needed here either, so take that and go for run.
