Of Course not, not just that Switch is successor of Wii U and 3DS, but its completely different tech/architecture than Wii U.
Power of console does not determine generation, I mean Wii was basically GC with motion controls and they are difrent gen consoles, going from Wii U to Switch we talking about much bigger difference in any case.
