Ubisofts uDontPlay is catastrophically terrible.
I actually asked Ubisoft to close my accounts and had a heap of their games removed from my Steam account. - Why? Because it never worked.
I won't even pick up a Ubisoft game even if it was for free.

I'm sorry you had such bad experiences with UPlay. In my case, I only had one problem, when the server disconnected and the game shut down. But as I said, it only happened once.

I can't tell you much about it, I haven't read any recent previews. As for watching some new gameplay videos of the game, I realized a while ago that I can't watch them because they always get on my nerves.
