The annoying thing about the smash meter is the cutscene smash's.
I wish they did away with cut scene smash's and had them all like the ones they showcased. You know like Mario's Fireball, Samus' Beam, Link's Arrow, ect.
I like how they don't interrupt the game. Meanwhile you have the Star Fox people doing a cut scene for their ship. Dedede doing his boxing ring, ect. They just disrupt the game flow.
It's not bad when it's tied to a smash ball that happens only frequently. But imagine if every character playing has a cutscene smash in an 8 person brawl. Might as well be playing a Metal Gear Solid game for how much cutscenes you'll be watching.
