And why is Sony not affected by the Tarif? They make their PS5's and so on in China do they not? Pretty sure all consoles do.

What makes you think that China's companies are suffering from the tariffs while domestic companies who rely on imports will just shrug it off as if it was nothing? Trade goes both ways, you know. And what is won when the counter tariffs are implemented? What did anyone win then?

The US could fold too.

But the point is that right now the US/China trade deal is heavily in China's favor. This Trade war is not a permanent tariff. It is just that a war until someone folds. Whether that is China finally giving us a better trade deal as well as no longer violating the World Trade Organization rules, which is giving them an unfair advantage over foreign competitors. Or if it the US folding and going back to how it was.
