I can see it now.... next Gen MS swear they wont be weaker in proformance than the PS5 is at launch, so they go that extra mile.

Sony with PS5 plans a 400$ price point, thanks to tarifs ends up being 600$.
MS with XB2 plans a 500$ price point, thanks to tarifs ends up being 750$.

Start of next gen, all the american gamers will be really thankfull of Trump!

And you don't believe that something will happen:

1. China folds and a better trade deal is made between us two countries

2. Companies no longer make their products in China cause the tariff takes away all the savings they made by moving to China.

And why is Sony not affected by the Tarif? They make their PS5's and so on in China do they not? Pretty sure all consoles do.

What makes you think that China's companies are suffering from the tariffs while domestic companies who rely on imports will just shrug it off as if it was nothing? Trade goes both ways, you know. And what is won when the counter tariffs are implemented? What did anyone win then?
