Transexual is not a mental disorder.
Homosexuals also have a much higher rate of suicide.
When you are a minority that constantly suffers from other people whinging about you, criticizing you, making false claims about you, attacking you (Verbally and/or Physically), then obviously mental health issues will become more prevalent. - I have lost count on the amount of training I have had on mental health and LGBTQI issues... And I can happily say you are very wrong.
Treat them with respect like any other human being... At the end of the day, we all bleed the same colour of blood.

The left and right are just as bad as each other.
Both pretend they are the victims, both can spew hatred and intolerance, both have extremists, both have conspiracy theorists, both can limit basic rights and freedoms.
I think peoples constant back and forth arguing about whether the left or the right being "worse" than the other is pretty pointless, history is littered with bad precedents from both camps.
