Ocarina of Time, played the first 4 hours of the N64 version about 3/4 times over the years and never got any further, then a couple of years ago I played the 3ds version from start to finish and loved it, 18fps on the n64 was killing it for me.

Was PAL region just 18 FPS? I've always thought the game was 20 FPS, but maybe I've been hearing a rounded number. I'm aware that games like Goldeneye run on a lower framerate on PAL versions.

Yeah it's 18fps for PAL and 20fps for NTSC.
