I definitely hate, and I mean hate, the double standard that allows some people to go completely unpunished for their past while others are thrown to the wolves, but I also rather wish this little tit-for-tat witch hunt would just end. I have to imagine at this point that everyone under a certain age has almost certainly typed something that they would be enormously embarrassed by or could be taken out of context to make them look terrible.
Each passing day just reaffirms in my mind that social media is one of the single worst things to have happened to mankind thus far, and it will certainly be among the biggest hurdles for us to overcome going forward.
