https://www.pcgamer.com/bioware-boss-casey-hudson-talks-about-anthems-shared-world-storytelling/
There's been quite a bit of speculation about how BioWare's Destiny 2-styled online shooter Anthem will tell a single-player story contained within a multiplayer world, particularly since epic tales of solo heroism have historically been BioWare's bread and butter. Casey Hudson's "mid-summer update" on the BioWare Blog reveals a little bit about how the studio is approaching the task through a system called "Our World, My Story."

One of the most popular board games right now, Gloomhaven, is coming to Steam thanks to Asmodee Digital. Gloomhaven has been an unqualified success, consistently selling out as quickly as designer Isaac Childres’ Cephalofair Games can print copies. It has generated a cultish buzz in the board gaming community, with praise addressing every aspect: Its combat, stories, legacy-style mechanics, and sheer box size.

Despite the efforts of services like Sony's Playstation Now, nobody's yet nailed the 'Netflix of games' blue sky proposal. Today Bungie teased a "Year Two Combat Reveal Stream" for Destiny 2 that will take place next week. The teaser was a very brief video that includes roughly nine seconds (I counted) of combat. It's not much to look at, but within those nine seconds are some very interesting hints about what we have to look forward to.

Endless Space 2 and Endless Legend tease new expansion footage, announce free weekend
https://www.pcgamer.com/endless-space-2-and-endless-legend-tease-new-expansion-footage-announce-free-weekend/
This time last week, we learned of Endless Space 2 and Endless Legend's new Supremacy and Inferno expansions—both of which land today. This time this week, I'm here to tell you both games are getting a free weekend.
From now through Sunday at 10am PST / 6pm BST, Endless Space 2 and Endless Legend are free to try (as are Amplitude's other games Dungeon of the Endless and the original Endless Space). More on that features in the trailer above. If you already own all of the developer's games, the free weekend's custom-made website and stretch goals might be of interest.

Time to check the remaining GOG and Steam deals of the weekend:

And that's it. I hope you all have a happy and gaming weekend.
