I don't believe it, of course (that's why I didn't post it here), but that doesn't mean that Nvidia can try to do it while stock for current cards last.

Considering how Nvidia hardly has any competition these days, it wouldn't surprise me if they just went up and up in price, even for their new low end cards. The market seems to reward them and AMD doesn't have the money or brains to absolutely smash them head on.

I don't think that Nvidia gets rewarded, it's jus tthat they have more powerful products than the competition, and people like to buy powerful toys.

And yeah, that's because of their lack of proper competition in the last years.
