This list is complete bullshit. Normally I find people funny who complain about lists like that because its a bit pointless.
But Gears of War? Seriously? I mean its a competent shooter but ...
Besides in the list of best games ever, console games before this gen should not even come up in the top10.
Starcraft,
Ultima Underworld,
Baldur's Gate 2,
System Shock 2,
Tie Fighter,
Fallout,
Civilization,
Half-Life 2,
Deus X,
Grim Fandango.
That would be a valid list. Zelda give me a break. Arguing about the best console game 1997 is like middle Europeans arguing 3000 bc which of their mud huts is the nicer one when at the same time Egyptians(PC games) build the Cheops pyramid.
