It seems to me that the Wii was not included in the study, and these Wii owners were self-reporting Wii owners; and the company is very sloppy with their conclusions. Consider that they assumed the Wii was Less Popular With 35 to 44 year olds because 20% of Wii owners are in that demographic, compared to 22.5% of XBox 360 owners ... This means that 2.5 Million people own a Wii in this demographic in North America compared to 2.637 XBox 360 owners even though the Wii has been on the market for 1/2 the time.
... A study that has such sloppy conclusions should not be trusted
