Again I point to Splatoon, frequent free updates with substantial content that made up for the initial lack of at launch, that's how you do it right. Star Allies is a fun a game and all, but just not worth $60 even after these updates. Whatever they do next isn't gonna change this, and I fear Star Allies may turn potential new fans off of the series.

Splatoon is a centric multiplayer experience though and their full team were still working on it for the expansion pack, a thing that was out 1 year later might I say. Some of it was substantial, yes. Though it had a cost.

Kirby does only have free updates as of yet (Only 4 months has passed since it's launched), but it's content is just as meaningful as anything that got out on Splatoon IMO. The Dream Friends, remixed music, remixed levels, etc. are definitely doing their worth.

Also, content output shouldn't be the only relative variable in the given price tag. To me, it's totally worth the 60 $, for you it's not, the end.

How so ? Right now, it's sales are on a better curve than Triple Deluxe and already crushed PR. Already a job well done, if it can land approx. near SSU. Would be a massive gain from the 3DS era. Done at a higher price point too !

Think you'd be alone in believing 9 characters is equivalent to new maps, weapons, modes on top of a more feature complete initial launch. SA is not only shorter than PR but also not as good, don't see how one can honestly say that it's worth $20 more. I'm speaking from a general unbiased standpoint btw, of course Kirby fanboys like you and I will be fine with the price we paid.

How else? They buy the game and then get disappointed by it. Not saying this absolutely will be the case to a significant degree, but we'll just have to wait and see.
