Immigrants aren't doing themselves any favors. Murderers, rape gangs... It's not hard to see why some don't want that on their doorstep.
It's alright to take the politically correct high road if you live in a bubble and don't face that threat, but for those who live in the real world, it's a real issue.
Edit: My mistake for getting heated before typing. As some good guy said, "not all" immigrants are the problem. Can't blame all for the actions of few.
