Yeah but Star Allies updates are not even close to being equivalent to stuff like Team Clash Deluxe or Battle Royale. Not saying each update needs to be at that level, but they could certainly do more than they are.

It's clear the output here is not stellar, but a case to be made is that it's just free stuff. New characters to toy around (I finished Dark MK route and boy the remix of Dark Mind 2nd phase *drools*).

Team Clash Deluxe was almost a year later of PR while Battle Royale was an holiday title put out before SA in Nov.-Jan.( Pretty sure their smaller team was working on that one).

We'll probably know by E3 next year what their plans with the franchise will be, more little games or will their main and little teams join and put all their effort into the next Kirby entry. A spin-off ? No one knows.

Meanwhile, I've been spoiled about the next wave but that doesn't undermine my excitement of playing my fav characters of this ever expanding franchise :3

Again I point to Splatoon, frequent free updates with substantial content that made up for the initial lack of at launch, that's how you do it right. Star Allies is a fun a game and all, but just not worth $60 even after these updates. Whatever they do next isn't gonna change this, and I fear Star Allies may turn potential new fans off of the series.
