CNN can't leak it. They can only report it. Only someone originally in possession of it can leak it. The existence of those tapes were leaked by Trumps legal team last week. They then said that Trump had waived attorney client privilege (biggest hint). Therefore being as though they leaked the story in the first place it only makes sense that they leaked the audio to a source that leaked to CNN or they leaked it directly to CNN. There are only a handful of possibilities here if you add of what is already known. Since there is only one other possible source of the leak (Cohen) the other possibility is that when the Trump team announced that they have waived privilege on the audio, Cohen leaked the audio to CNN. But as you know, their was a rumor that Cohen could have flipped but needed something substantial to warrant a deal. Therefore the most likely case is that the tape was leaked by the Trump team to try to stop a flip. It is 10X more likely that Trump leaked the tape. Its kinda obvious what they did actually...
