It's a bit hard to believe those numbers given that there's no new node and the TDP will be the same 95W of their 6-core CPUs. But hey, they could be smart and weld the heatspreader again like AMD does, helping with the heat problem.

But I'm more interested in how much they're going to ask for it. The i7-8700K was $359, and I don't see this one being cheaper.

I don't expect anything below $500. And if the rumors are true it might be even more.

According to new sources the i9 and i7 will be soldered.
