If we consider Wii U and Switch as the same generation (As in, both being 8th generation consoles. They're obviously different Nintendo gens though, and Switch is 9th gen to me), then I think 3D World > Odyssey and Splatoon > Splatoon 2 are nice improvements, especially in Odyssey's case.
(Couldn't find a better example for Odyssey, sorry).
Also, I'm interested to see what a Zelda game built from the ground-up for the Switch would look like, especially a 2D one.
