Exactly.
Julian Assange himself clearly hinted that DNC staffer Seth Rich was the source who leaked the DNC emails to Wikileaks. And for Julian Assange, it must have been a joy to release those eMails, since he had obvious reasons to hate Clinton and prevent her from becoming president. Assange is just a human, if he had clearly favoured Clinton over Trump, he most probably wouldn't have published the DNC emails, not rather short before the election.
So, ultimately, it was probably Clintons tyrannic "Why don't we simply send death squads to kill people like Assange?" dictator-attitude, and the obvious hatred for Clinton that this must have caused in Assange, that really cost her the presidency.
The whole russia thing on the other hand is just an obvious scapegoat tactic - and considering that the US is trying to influence the outcome of almost every democratic election on this planet, it's also hypocritical to the bone.
