Dreams was first announced at E3 in 2015. The thing in 2013 was a PS4 tech demo. Similar to Quantic Dream’s Kara tech demo before Detroit.
Also, we’ll get a beta this year. I know they’ve said beta dates before, but the devs have said on Twitter that they’ve been very wrong about the amount of time required to create the game, and that they’re extremely confident now that the beta will be this year, with full game-release shortly after that.
The long wait was due to the game engine being remade 3 times before they were happy with it. Add to that that there was only a single person making the engine (now they’ve hired more, Mm has actually hired a shocking amount of people lately) I understand the delays. |
I'm still waiting for QD to make a game out of the tech demo on PS4 reveal with that dark wizard.
