Yes. I don't require developers to be politically correct but they at least should be politically adequate. Meaning they should respect the essential of human rights (no torture, female mutilation, persecution etc.) and be accountable for saying dumb stuff or supporting such politics.
It's like, well, you can support dumb if you want, you are free to do so, but people are free as well to feel offended, call you out on having a dumb opinion, and act on it.
Sometimes political brigades, specially on the left, do make an issue of things that should not be so, but sometimes, as well, people are totally right to feel offended, and that doesn't mean they are soft, or anything.
