Would you buy, refund or boycott a game out of political spite?

If it's just the developers' own personal beliefs, and it doesn't impact the game itself, I really couldn't care less. They could be Trump/Bernie supporters, Nazis, rabid hipsters, Onodera fans, Anti-vax people, Otherkin, Martians, doesn't really matter to me as long as the game itself is free from these influences.

If the game pushes an opinion down my throat that feels out of place though, then I might be less interested. Though it also depends on how in-your-face it is and what the opinion is. I've played a lot of JRPGs with anti-racism plots and subplots...and I don't mind since it's usually handled tastefully, and that's an opinion I hope we all share anyway.
