As the press release reads, after a week of marketing, the game has ranked first in sales in France, the United Kingdom, Germany and many other countries ahead of other big titles.

Most Steam users will agree that the storefront's 'Upcoming' tab is a little on the unhelpful side. Given how many hundreds of games release on the platform every week, you can never be sure whether you're missing out on something great. But that's theoretically coming to an end, because Valve has just rolled out changes to the feature.
Described as a "smarter, more tailored list", the new 'Popular Upcoming' tab will compile games that have attracted considerable pre-release interest. This is determined by how many users have wishlisted the game, how many have pre-ordered, and whether the studio has a reputation for releasing good games.

Modder ‘Starac/Ancient’ has released a new version of his graphics/texture overhaul mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This new version adds some new 2K/4K textures, though the modder did not specify which are the new textures that have been added.
Skyrim Realistic Overhaul contains 10gb of high quality 2048k/4096k textures and has over 1500 textures. As such, this pack aims to drastically increase quality while keeping artistic look of original textures.

BloodGDX, Blood port to Java’s libgdx framework with OpenGL support, now supports classic multiplayer

M210 Projects has released a new version of his Blood port to Java’s libgdx framework, BloodGDX. This new version of BloodGDX supports for the first time classic multiplayer, adds new drunk effect, packs AI flee damage sectors and adds compatibility with JRE9 and JRE10.
In case you weren’t aware of, BloodGDX is a Blood port to Java’s libgdx framework that supports OpenGL and can read all of original Blood maps and original Blood resources, and play as the original Blood game.

Rekkr is a neat looking Viking-themed Doom Megawad

Modders and level creators continue to produce goods for the original Doom. Some even allow you to romance the demons. But nowadays they're often designed for modernised versions: source ports like ZDoom or GZDoom. These are cool, but it's neat to find a new Megawad created for the original DOS game, built under the ye olde engine restrictions (no free look, no slopes).
That's what Rekkr is, but it's not the only cool thing about it. It's a Viking-themed Megawad complete with 25 new levels, boasting its own textures, music and sound. It'll work in ZDoom and other source ports, but you'll get just as much out of it if you load it into the original game (that might be a hassle for modern PC users, though, unless you want to use DOSBox).
