Grow and sell weed with this Stardew Valley mod
https://www.pcgamer.com/grow-and-sell-weed-with-this-stardew-valley-mod/
Stardew Valley has an enormous variety of crops ranging from cranberries to kale to starfruit. But 'Smellyhippie_'s' Cannabis Mod adds six more—and I bet you could guess them just from their username alone. With decriminalization of marijuana becoming common across the States and Canada, it only makes sense that the citizens of Stardew Valley would want the freedom to smoke up as well. And, well, what kind of entrepreneur would you be if you weren't willing to meet that demand?

GTA 5 Warfare mod adds 20v20 military-themed showdowns
https://www.pcgamer.com/gta-5-warfare-mod-adds-20v20-military-themed-showdowns/
As far as GTA 5 mods go, Warfare is pretty straightforward: it turns Los Santos into a militarised urban hellscape, where teams of 20 fight... just because. It does look pretty good though, and once you've installed it there's a fair bit of flexibility involved. You can pit your two teams (yourself and 39 NPCs, in case it isn't clear) against one another in a variety of pre-set Los Santos environments, or else create an arena yourself.

>>Available from gta5-mods.

https://www.pcgamer.com/dead-cells-leaves-early-access-on-august-7-so-lets-have-a-look-at-the-new-trailer/
It's been a little over a year since Dead Cells, "the old school Castlevania gone roguelike" as Shaun described it, debuted on Steam Early Access. It's come a long way since then, with a new biome and monsters, daily challenges and abilities, and a new level and boss, and today developer Motion Twin announced that it will finally leave its pre-release state behind and go into full release on August 7.

https://www.pcgamer.com/pubg-dev-prioritising-performance-anti-cheat-and-bugs/
Yesterday, popular streamer Shroud got banned for playing PUBG with a hacker, and a cursory glance at the battle royale's Steam reviews suggest cheating is still prevalent. Furthering its recent anti-cheat drive, developer PUBG Corp says it's "prioritising" anti-cheat measures among other things.
As noted in this Steam Community update for PUBG's PC #17.1 update, anti-cheat measures are among the devs' main concerns—alongside performance and bugs.

Dark Souls Remastered patch improves 'security against cheating during online multiplayer'
https://www.pcgamer.com/dark-souls-remastered-patch-improves-security-against-cheating-during-online-multiplayer/
(...) I'm pleased to see Bandai Namco actively working to reduce cheaters with Dark Souls Remastered's latest patch.
"Improved the security against cheating during online multiplayer," reads one bullet point in update 1.03's patch notes. Likewise, a bug which let players become invisible during online multiplayer has been ironed out—as have a number of issues around messages not displaying in asynchronous online play, The Four Kings not appearing in The Abyss, and the end sequence playing before the player has toppled Gwyn.
