Capcom has just announced that Monster Hunter World will come to the PC on August 9th, however things are not looking really great. According to its Steam store page, Monster Hunter World will be using the controversial Denuvo anti-tamper tech.
Not only that, but it appears that at launch the PC version will have the exact same visuals with the console versions and that it may not support mods.

Back in June, we informed you about the first HD Texture Pack for Dark Souls Remastered. Created by Evie Schwab, this texture pack covers NMaps, Height Maps and Albedo Textures for all textures within viewing distance for the player, all in Native 4K, made from scratch without upscaling.
Evie has released a brand new version of his amazing texture pack that brings more than 100 new high quality textures. In addition, this latest version of his ultra HD texture pack adds new effects/textures for messages and summon signs, new trees in the undead parish, and also includes his Quelaag/Fair Lady retexture and Estus flask retexture.

Portal 2 mod Destroyed Aperture adds 20 maps and 30 puzzles, due 'Fall 2018'

Portal 2 is a masterpiece and one of the few games that actually lived up to its hype. Destroyed Aperture is a work in progress community-made Portal 2 mod that's been in development since 2015, and is due this year. It's as yet without a hard release date, but it's now popped up on ModDB with a bundle of new screens. I'm excited.
Because not only does Destroyed Aperture drop players into a neat/terrifying decayed and overgrown Aperture Science Facility, it promises a new five hour-long story campaign that spans five chapters. Within that, we can expect over 20 maps "filled with puzzles and exploration with increasing difficulty", and over 30 logic-based puzzles.

Capcom has announced that the PC version of Monster Hunter World will be released on August 9th. In addition, the Japanese company has also revealed the game’s official PC system requirements.
According to the PC specs, PC gamers will need an Intel Core i5-4460 or an AMD FX-6300 with 8GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 or an AMD Radeon R7 260X for Low settings at 1080p/30fps.

Xaviant Games has announced the sequel to The Culling which is yet another battle royale game, The Culling 2. Xaviant released an announcement trailer today, revealing that the game will be released on July 10th.

 

Metroidvania-style action-platformer, Chasm, releases on July 31st

Bit Kid confirmed today the official launch date of its long-awaited game, Chasm. The game will launch on Thursday, July 31st on Steam for $19.99/€17.99. Chasm is a Metroidvania-style action-platformer with RPG elements that takes inspiration from classics like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and Mega Man.

 

New Final Fantasy XV patch fixes Offline mode and in-game Modlist
