Imo, just get better at the game. You have a gathering box, so you shouldn't have trouble with herbs and honey.
You do not need a wind charm, just be patient, and prepare yourself.
Health charms and health boosts are a huge help as they avoid you getting 1 shot, and IMO the Nergi armour is one of the best in the game, passive abilities are more important then stats, and at the end of the day you can just upgrade it.
