.) I currently own a PSVR and an Oculus Go. The PSVR is great for gaming as it makes you feel like you're "in the world". In a well made game, it really is convincing.
The Oculus Go is several generations behind in power and isn't nearly as immersive when it comes to gaming but it's a media beast and much easier to "pick up and play".
.) I've always been interested in VR, 3D, motion controls, and things of that nature. I guess I'm a fan of innovation even though some may call them gimmicks.
.) While there will always be a place for 2D gaming, you just can't beat the escape that VR provides. With the right software, I believe a lot of people will be convinced. VR may not be THE future but it's definitely A future and current software is just scratching the surface. After trying the Anne Frank VR experience, I wouldn't be surprised to see it used in schools.
.) For the mainstream, a Call of Duty VR would be a game changer.
