1) I've use the PSVR, tried the space flying demo and the driving demo. I really, really didn't like having to wear something on my face.

2) Not really, but it was fun to try. I played a lot of 3DS with the 3D turned on, and VR is basically the same thing but enclosed and with a much, much better fidelity.

3) It could be, but it has some hurdles to overcome. The set-up is far too much for most people. They need to be lighter, smaller, wireless and have a lot less extra tracking stuff to set up around the room. The PSVR was definitely better than the others in that last regard, since I believe it only needs the camera? I might be wrong.

4) VR's problem is that the exclusive games for it are short, gimmicky tech demos, and the great games that can be played in VR (like Resident Evil 7) can also be played without VR. If people can play the game without VR just fine, then there's no reason to get a VR headset, even if it is more immersive. VR needs some real exclusive games that are great and can ONLY be played in VR.
