Not really. Last World Cup there were 2 South American teams in the semifinals. This one doesn’t have one by chance. Brazil played better than Belgium, for example. So I don’t see the disparity between Europe and South America. Especially since Europe gets 12 teams on the WC while SA only gets 4 or 5, depending on the repechage. So obviously from time to time this is bound to happen.
Now, if we’re talking about Africa, Asia e NA I can totally agree.
