Doesn't matter what league they're in your favourite team is your favourite team for many a team represents not just their country's football but their local area, promotion and relegation is the reward and punishment for consistency/complacency and help to keep the game competitive.

Teams have different styles and philosophies the's more to it than just playing in the top leagues.

Yes, but for me there are no professional clubs in my local area, so I guess I don't have the same attachment as others would.
