Is GT Sport that good? The online only aspect with no campaign really puts me off. I have been disappointed with the GT franchise since GT4.

If you enjoy competitive mostly clean online racing with full rooms starting every 10 minutes any time of the day then yes, it is that good.
I've completed over 3000 sport races since the game came out.

There is a campaign, sort of, plenty offline content now, yet GT AI is not competitive. Offline is for quickly making money, xp and earning cars. It's not very challenging, easiest GT to gold everything.
