Hmm, now I'm getting a bit more interested, specifically thinking of playing some soccer games. Unfortunately there is no 2018 World Cup game though, so maybe I can just find the 2014 one for cheap As I'm not paying out of my ass for FIFA 18 which will just become obsolete anyway (though to be fair I haven't got a FIFA game since 14 so I've already missed 15, 16, 17 and now 18).

FIFA 18 did add a World Cup mode, it isn't great but it was a free addition so can't complain too much. It's also pretty cheap at the moment due to being on sale, only 16 quid on UK PSN right now. That's not really paying out of your ass FIFA 17 should be even cheaper if you go pre-owned. Old FIFA games are dirt cheap as soon as their successor releases. Edit: There's a FIFA 17 on Amazon for £2.44 right now, so yeah dirt cheap and I'd assume it would be stupidly cheap in Canada now too?

As for World Cup games specifically, I didn't think much of the 2014 one. 2010 was really good though and 2006 was fantastic, they're probably pretty dated by now however.

Well, from what I checked FIFA 17 is $30 off Amazon, but maybe I can find it cheaper in the wild. I have 2010 and 2002, I mainly remember 2002 though because I would get red cards for slide tackling the goalkeeper, but then on the replay it'd clearly show that I didn't even touch him
