I think you took it the wrong way, your reply implies that me thinking you have brand loyalty is inherently bad ... it isn't though. My point wasn't that it's bad to have brand loyalty, quite the opposite in fact. My point was that, to some extent, wouldn't you agree that you have brand loyalty as well? Perhaps brand loyalty that goes a bit farther than an average gamer? A "fan", if you willl? Because there's nothing wrong with being that ... but it is kind of odd to call someone out for that, as well. Just an observation, no offense intended 
We kind of need fans on this site ... we are all a fan of something ... that is how we are passionate enough to stay here, I think 
By the way, The Last of Us actually was criticized for having disappointing A.I.. So I would not say that was entirely invalid of him to say, even if he was joking.
