If anything, Nomura was send there to save the game.When he wanted to do something diferent and in the right way, which of course means time, Square got impatient and put Tabata on his place instead, and we got the mess of the game we have today.
My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.
