Yep thats a flop tactic......
It takes so much hardware power to do it, that focusing on it at this point will likely just be wasted/mis-used resources.
OR end up with a overpriced console.
MS does that and the Xbox Two starts out the gate as a flop.
Sounds like a good way to lose next gen.
