Now that you put it this way. The only worthwhile addition to Microsoft is Ninja Theory. I am sure they will pump out a very good AAA in 3 years from the past work of Hellblade, DMC, Enslaved and Heavenly Sword.
Microsoft has always been Halo, Gears, Fable; repeat and repeat.
Sony has so many existing and new IPs. This is what distinguishes Sony from the other 2.
Forza is amazing, but it doesn't make any impact as its addressable market is very small, it only sells like a million copy each game. Gran Turismo is still living in its glory days and haven't released any meaningful game for a long time, even though it still sells like 5+million copies per game.
