Sure. Because there was even a studio that was closed after ZERO duds. Sony liverpool had an amazing track record with Wipeout, but they were closed out of nowhere.

Socom 4 from Zipper was not as good as it's predecessors, but the killing blow was PSN outage, again. For a game that multiplayer played a key part in, it never had a chance, even if it was good. Then after Sony made them work on a Vita game, and guess who's fault the failure of the vita was...

They obviously weren't closed for no reason (second time I'm hearing this). They don't have a record of closing studio(s) like that and there's no reason to just assume it here. So, take it as a bottom line that it was something you shouldn't have said. I can understand wanting Insomniac to remain independent, otherwise.

That article is full of the usual PR fluff. I couldn't find any good reason, just....

"However, it was felt that by focusing our investment plans on other Studios that are currently working on exciting new projects, we would be in a stronger position to offer the best possible content for our consumers."

The usual PR when Sony/Microsoft/EA/Activision close a studio.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
