I hate to be a party pooper, as I too was very excited when a physical release was announced and planned to grab that version, but apparently the physical release is a download card in a box, not a proper cartridge release.

That said, the new stuff does indeed look quite nice and I am still looking forward to it.

I keep hearing that the story part is in a cart and the expansion pass is a code. The way Nintendo has it worded it on their website is confusing. I think I'll wait for more info.
