As ever, though, rather than being a harrowing procedure, the animation makes healthcare seem fun.

Gun Media has announced that because of a legal battle over the rights to the franchise, development of new content for Friday the 13th: The Game has been put on hold. The trouble is rooted in an ongoing dispute between Victor Miller, the writer of the original film, and Sean Cunningham, the producer and director of the film and current rights holder.

The debut trailer for the Resident Evil 2 remake was shown at Sony's E3 showcase, and it's looking way better than expected. This isn't just a simple remaster with higher-res textures and streamlined controls. This is Resident Evil 2 completely remade. It's adopting the over-the-shoulder camera and combat system popularized in Resident Evil 4 from the looks of it, and the characters and monsters have received a nice makeover. The mood is much spookier than what I remember, too. I have to say, I'm very impressed.

 

Cayde-6 gets killed in a dark Destiny 2: Forsaken story trailer (Updated)

The trailer is one of tone-setting rather than a reveal of features or gameplay. It opens with a closeup of Cayde-6 looking like death on toast and apparently at the mercy of an Awoken Hunter—possibly Abra Zire, although she was (according to the Destinypedia, anyway) killed at the Battle of Saturn during the Taken War.
Update: I completely forgot about this, but rumors of Cayde-6 dying in Destiny 2 actually surfaced back in October in a datamining thread on Reddit. The Future War Cult and New Monarchy factions were found to have lines referencing his death and "what comes after," and there are also mentions of the Reef and the Prison of Elders, the setting for the Forsaken expansion.

Nioh 2 was just announced at Sony's E3 2018 press conference, and like the first, it's in the hands of Team Ninja and published by Koei Tecmo. It's not been confirmed for PC as yet, though the first Nioh was a PS4 exclusive for only a year, before finally launching on Steam in November last year.
