Battlefield 5 cosmetics 'need to be believable, need to fit with the era', says EA
https://www.pcgamer.com/battlefield-5-cosmetics-need-to-be-believable-need-to-fit-with-the-era-says-ea/
In conversation with senior producer Andreas Morrell at E3, Phil asked if the developer is worried about historical accuracy in relation to the game's planned cosmetic items.
"It needs to be believable. It needs to fit with the era," explains Morrell. "We're not creating a steampunk universe or anything like that. But if it was used, we can have it. Doing research for this, we stumbled across a guy called 'Mad Jack' Churchill, a British guy who was part of the Norwegian campaign.

In an interview with Gameslice's Geoff Keighley on Monday, Todd Howard offered a little more detail on the status of Bethesda's next two major projects, Starfield and The Elder Scrolls 6. "I would say Elder Scrolls 6 is in pre-production, and Starfield is in production. It's a game we've been making for awhile," Howard said. "Starfield is playable. Elder Scrolls 6, not in that way yet."
Bethesda is '100 percent committed' to Fallout 76 mod support
https://www.pcgamer.com/fallout-76-will-have-mod-support-but-not-at-launch/
One of the big questions about Fallout 76 is whether or not it will support mods. Previous Fallout games have enjoyed extensive mod support, but as an online game with an inextricable multiplayer focus, the Fallout 76 situation wasn't so clear. Speaking with Geoff Keighley today, however, Todd Howard assured fans that Bethesda is completely committed to making it happen.

LawBreakers is closing in September, will be free-to-play until then (Updated)
https://www.pcgamer.com/lawbreakers-goes-free-to-play-on-steam/
With no fanfare, or even the slightest indication at all that it was going to happen, Boss Key Studio's arena FPS LawBreakers has gone free-to-play Steam.
Update: Unfortunately, the free-to-play transition isn't a sign that Nexon is hoping to revive LawBreakers, but simply a way to soften the blow of its looming closure. "In light of the unfortunate news regarding Boss Key Productions shutting down, we regret to announce that we will be sunsetting our support of LawBreakers on September 14, 2018 as we are not able to operate the game," Nexon said in a statement.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 will join them, too, with all three games having been only available on PS4 in the past.
