Royalties on games sales, Xbox Live and Gamepass subscription is what bring in money to Microsoft not HW sales. If Microsoft now consider both their Xbox consoles and Windows PC has their user base it means they always have a larger install based then simply Xbox Console. When they make the switch to XB2, most of the Windows install base will remain intact.
