Well, I'm more comparing our wealth to our poverty and poor health, I guess I could have worded that better. Of course there are other countries worse off than the US, but they're also financially lacking. The fact that we are not financially lacking and have the levels of poverty and poor health that we do, it's very sad and unthinkable. The US is the ultimate oxymoron. 

There is also countries that have more inequality in income (which is your comparison between rich and poor).

And it isn't an oxymoron... but as I said to another person here I won't go the length to discuss the notion of poverty and not inequality being the problem or government solving this with the socialism thoughts.
