Not only do they have to showcase things that will please their current fans and console owners, they have the burden to showcase things that will attract new consumers. If you're a console owner there may be a few things you are excited about, but lets be completely honest. Nothing about this conference got non-owners excited. In my opinion as someone who owns the console I feel worse post than pre-conference. I can expect basically no new unique experience on this console. Almost all multiplatforms that won't sell best on Xbox and just more of the Halo, Gears, Forza rehashes. Where is the creativity? |
I pretty much agree with all your posts here.
5/10. People talk about being entertained. That's an extremely low bar to set. I'm entertained by watching funny or die clips for an hour. Doesn't mean they are 7+ out of ten. I care about them selling me their products, games, vision etc and they failed to do so
