| DonFerrari said: Yes I know Cell gave devs problems, I don't know that it have to do with the topic. Not doomed, that would depend on the game itself, but it's better to be the biggest release of the month than one among many. And 3rd parties don't do heavy on releases on Q1, so they could avoid any big competition. But since they didn't give a date, just a month, perhaps it will be in the begining of the month and have almost 3 weeks to shine. Sony have moved release date in the past to avoid competition, so not sure why MS wouldn't. I haven't said MS can't win or that they would forfeit, so I have no idea what Sega have to do with it. I said I don't see a reason to cheer for their victory or to project a win in next gen. Sure MS can end up selling more and people still doesn't like it, but they haven't yet. Most people aren't you, you can see from Xbox sales itself, going from 35 to 90+ and back to 35M (possibly ending in 50M) this clearly shows that people gave MS a chance when they liked their offer. The problem with your new leader is that you are saying you want it for the sake of it and possibly because you don't like Sony, not because they would be doing something that would really improve the landscape. |
Because last gen that was Sony's big issue. This gen MS has a massive image issue.
We know what the game is, it's Crackdown. If it was a brand new never before done IP, then that would remain up in the air. Tbh there are more releases in the coming months during Summer, Winter and sometimes certain spring times. We already know Anthem is going to be coming out around the same time, so that becomes another big release, if not a multiplat one.
Tbh it'll be Anthem that seeks to compete, as it'll be covering 3 systems, while the other two cover one each.
Well so far it doesn't seem like either of them are moving, even after the fact that EA just revealed their hand. Delays could very well happen, it's more or less becoming a thing these days in the AAA space.
No I meant that Sega threw in the towel, despite trying so little with the Dreamcast, but MS hasn't shown signs of throwing in the towel (Despite some thinking that half their focus on PC is them "leaving", even though they clearly aren't trying hard enough in that space).
Most people aren't me or you either.
My new "leader"?. What I want is someone else to take the lead, rather than the one that always wins due to other's incompetence and mistakes. I don't like Sony or MS, so it's definitely not one over the other. Despite owning a Switch, I'm not gaga for Nintendo either. I'm just there for AC, Zelda and Pokemon.
MS could do something that improves the landscape though, and there will be some folk out there that claim they aren't doing anything.
Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
