He could, but he would have to take a pretty substantial paycut so that the Rockets can keep CP3, who wants the supermax contract, as well as have some quality role players to make up for some of the big pieces they would lose like Trevor Ariza and  especially Clint Capella, who causes all sorts of matchup problems for the Warriors.  Both of those guys are also free agents this summer. 
If not, then the Rockets will have to make a lot of trades and lose most of their roster just to get him. Basically, everyone except James Harden, and Chris Paul if he resigns, becomes tradeable.

Then James should do it. Take a pay cut and try to keep as many key players as possible. CP3 should aim to get a ring, I'd like to see him get one.
