Nintendo implied that we should temper our expectations last year. No surprise that it was that short.

It wasn't even a direct last year. It was a "spotlight"...

Unpopular opinion but last year's E3 wasn't even good actually. If you were a non-Nintendo fan Mario Odyssey would've most likely the only thing that left you interested after that presentation, as that trailer was amazing, and it of course was playable.

This E3 will crush it to bits. You watch. A good Smash reveal and another surprise (with actual gameplay) will be enough.
