Lol, what? It doesn't matter if what you say is factually true as long as everyone around you believes it's true it is?

*sigh* No.

What we are discussing here are not scientific facts, that if proven scientifically, its true regardless of opinion. We are discussing when "festivities" about E3 begin and when the general concenssus of when the E3 begins, but not when the exposition by itself begins.About wether E3 is defined by only the exposition that is held during three days, or wether E3 is defined by all the fanfare that the companies make around it(conferences, game reveals and so on).

And Im arguing for in favor of the latter.Much like language which is defined by the own people that speak it(They create new words and slurs, which is latter incorporated to dictionaries and be deemed as official), festivities and events are also define by the people that attend it and watch it, much like cultural festivities.

Anyways, I know that you wont agree with me, and that your opinion is already formed about this, and anything I say wont persuade you. However, if you wish to see how much in the minority you are, just go to other forums like Resetera, IGN, Neogaf and so on, and ask/see there how many think E3 starts at Tuesday versus the ones that know it starts with the first conference.

Now, if you wish to continue this conversation, PM me.Otherwise, stop derailing the thread.

I can prove by the official webpage when E3 starts, and have posted the website linking to the actual webpage. It is not up for debate, it is posted by the people holding the event of when it  starts. If not, what stops E3 from starting when the Sony Countdown event starts tomorrow? It's like saying the Superbowl pregame show is when the Superbowl starts. It's not. It's also mighty presumptuous that I'm in the minority regardless of a few people on a few gaming website forums might think, even if everyone on those sights supposedly agree, that is still less than .000000000001% of the gaming community. There is a posted time for when E3 starts, it really isn't up for debate.

Other than that, I'm done, no need to PM.

*edit* 1 last thing, made up words HAVE to be added to the dictionary before they become actual words, just like E3 events that aren't part of E3 would HAVE to be added to the schedule to be a part of the official E3.
